About Rebecca Lucas

Rebecca Lucas is an associate in Andersons’ family law team.

Rebecca’s interest in family law was sparked when she was a child, brought up by a single parent (her Dad) after her parents separated. As a result, she saw the court process unfolding and has a deep understanding of the emotional stresses upon parents and children when a family unit breaks down. She knows that if the separation and divorce can stay out of the court system, the emotional burden, stress and costs for her clients is greatly reduced.

Rebecca completed her Certificate IV in Legal Practice from TAFE SA which allowed her a direct pathway into Law at University. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws externally through Charles Darwin University and her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the University of Adelaide in July 2015.

Rebecca has been working in Andersons’ family law team for 7 years, joining in 2012 as a personal assistant while she was studying. She went on to graduate from law in 2015 and became a solicitor. In 2018 Rebecca was promoted to an associate. Prior to working at Andersons Rebecca spent 7 years working as a personal assistant in several firms working in all different areas of the law.

Rebecca is passionate about working with her clients to reach satisfactory and fair out of court settlements.

Out of the office Rebecca enjoys baking, reading a good book and getting outdoors for a good workout. Beck is often involved in charity and community events, including organising the Andersons Annual Red Nose Day campaign each year.
