About Megan Horsell

Megan is an Associate in Andersons Solicitors' Commercial Law team.

She graduated from the University of New England with Honours in 2006 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia and New South Wales in 2007. In 2017, she completed a Masters of Applied Law at the College of Law majoring in Wills and Estates

Megan has always been driven to help others. Prior to becoming a lawyer, she worked as a Registered Nurse for nearly a decade. Her nursing career took her interstate and overseas and allowed her to develop compassion and an appreciation for the importance of building relationships and communicating in a way her clients understand.

Beginning her legal career as a personal injury lawyer before developing a passion for Wills and Estates, Megan is dedicated to her area of law. She enjoys helping her clients gain the peace of mind of knowing they’ve planned ahead, looked after their families by securing  their wealth, and supporting them through the challenges associated with losing a loved one or the stress of an Inheritance Claim.

She continues to be involved with the College of Law and is the State Representative for Wills & Estates, where she works on ensuring the assessment for the College’s Practical Legal Training program is relevant to South Australian lawyers and is compliant with South Australian law.

Outside of law, Megan enjoys spending time with her family, particularly her three young children. She is a keen trail walker and recently participated in the Jodie Lee Foundation Trek, hiking 80km along the Fleurieu Peninsula to raise funds for bowel cancer awareness.
