About Errol Kaplan

Errol Kaplan is a Senior Associate in Andersons’ commercial and estate planning team.

Errol joined Andersons in 2014 having graduated in law from Charles Darwin University in 1997. Ongoing studies have seen him gain a Graduate Certificate in Legal Practice from University of SA and a Master of Laws Degree at the University of Adelaide in 2009.

Errol’s parents came to Adelaide from Cyprus in the years after the war and worked long and hard in a variety of retail businesses. Errol was born in South Australia and, as he grew up within a hardworking and close family, he came to really understand people, their needs, concerns, fears and joys. These early impressions were instrumental in him choosing a career in the law where his keen understanding of the value of being both a good listener and the importance of balancing sound legal advice with realistic client outcomes can make a difference.

Errol has gained invaluable insights into the operation of small and medium sized business, and the hurdles with which they are often confronted.

Whilst Errol has broad experience as a general practitioner, his work is increasingly in the fields of wills and estates, property law, civil litigation and commercial law. An aspect of commercial law in which Errol is increasingly engaged is in the area of drafting of technical documents and transactions.

In 2016 Errol was admitted as a Public Notary by the Supreme Court of South Australia and now also provides services performed by a Notary.

In his spare time, Errol loves tennis and relaxing with friends. Errol also speaks and writes Turkish.
