Chris joined Andersons Solicitors in 2021 and is an Associate in both our Family Law and Wills and Estates team. He is a part of the team at our Stokes Legal division.
After graduating from the University of Adelaide with a double degree in Law and Arts in 2016, Chris then completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice in 2017 at the Australian National University. During this time, Chris worked as a clerk at a metropolitan law firm. Chris was admitted in South Australia as a Solicitor and Barrister in July of 2017, where he then commenced his formal practice.
Chris further honed his legal knowledge and client-focused approach with two years of country practice in Mount Gambier, and recently working at a mid-sized firm in the city.
While he has worked in various areas of the law, Chris has developed a passion for Family Law and Wills & Estates matters. He understands that both of these areas of law are often associated with difficult periods in a person's life, so Chris' approach places clear and concise communication at its centre. He is a firm believer that the best outcomes are achieved when clients feel they have been part of every step of their matter.
Chris has experience in all areas of Family Law, particularly complex property disputes, as well as drafting both simple and complex Wills, applying for probate for a wide variety of estates, and estates subject to dispute.
Outside of practising law, Chris is an avid movie-goer and sports lover and enjoys the company of friends and family.
