Alice heads up our Family Law Department and works in the Adelaide office.
In her earlier years, Alice worked as an Enrolled Dental Nurse at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and went on to study for her Bachelor of Arts majoring in Legal Studies which resulted in finishing up with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide.
Shortly after completing her studies, Alice worked at the Women’s Legal Service (SA) Inc as a solicitor gaining significant experience in domestic violence matters, property and predominantly children's matters often working with women from diverse backgrounds.
To broaden her horizons, Alice travelled to England where she gained further experience as a solicitor in a high net worth matrimonial law firm in the heart of Birmingham. Unlike our non-fault based system in Australia, Alice was able to gain hands on experience assisting with matters arising from, for example, jurisdictional issues.
Upon her return to Australia, she worked again for the Women’s Legal Service (SA) Inc for a short period of time before establishing a sole practice in the heart of the legal precinct in Adelaide.
In mid 2006, Alice re-located to Melbourne where she worked as a family law solicitor before her return to Adelaide in early 2009 to commence with Andersons.
Alice also has a wealth of personal experience which, together with her knowledge and skills of family law and her strong sense of social justice, combine to produce a compassionate, understanding and skilled approach in resolving family law matters.
