Andersons Solicitors

Community Support

At Andersons, we're passionate about the work we do on a day-to-day basis in the law. Our team of solicitors and support staff are committed to the service and support they provide to our clients but that's exactly what's expected of a successful law firm.

To further enhance our commitment to our staff and to our community, we pride ourselves on the non-legal support we provide to a number of not-for-profit organisations and sporting clubs as seen by our associations listed below.

As well as these long standing relationships, each Friday our staff have the choice to wear casual clothes to work in exchange for a donation to the 'Charity of the Month'. This has been in place for a number of years and thousands of dollars have been raised to support a variety of charities recommended by various staff.

Australian Patients Association

Australian Patients Association

Andersons is proud to be associated as a State Sponsor in SA and NT for the Australian Patients Association (“APA”). The APA is a not for profit organisation established to represent patient's interests, promote patient's issues and improve patient's lives.

The APA aims to educate patients about their rights and choices. It also aims to expose poor and inequitable patient care and highlight deficiencies in the public and private healthcare system. They will research and develop sensible remedies to benefit members and the broader community.

They believe that an effective, independent advocacy group working for patients can have a proactive influence upon and effect positive change to health policy and patient care. For more information, visit their website at http://patients.org.au/home.aspx

Australian Defence Force Reserves Leave

We’ve officially signed up to the Australian Defence Force Reserves Leave Scheme. At Andersons, we believe in “life out of work” for our members and particularly when it involves such community spirit and national pride, as ADF support.

We worked closely with ADF Reserve staff to ensure we came up with a policy that assists our members in their support of the ADF Reserves. This includes moral, cultural and financial assistance to make sure Andersons staff can participate in volunteer services like this without the burden of a strict employment regime.

For more info on the ADF Reserve Leave Scheme, visit their website at www.defence.gov.au/reserves

Motorcycle Riders Association SA

MRA

The Motorcycle Riders Association of South Australia is an association whose main aim is to protect the rights of all motorcyclists in South Australia and provide them with a voice in the public and political arenas.

We also provide resource and financial assistance to the Bent & Buckled Bikers Brigade (4Bs) sub-committee who visit injured motorcyclists in hospitals.

A current initiative of the 4Bs is DVD donations to Adelaide’s major hospitals so that long term patients (not just motorcyclists) are provided with loan DVDs and DVD players to help pass the time. Andersons Solicitors is assisting this scheme by spreading the word and making all our offices, locations for DVD drop off.
